Trio includes 59 rental units, will be located in the developing area of West Coquitlam a short walk from the Burquitlam SkyTrain station.

The building’s design with West Coast architectural aesthetic of simple forms, has similar architectural expression to our adjacent project, Duet Flats, currently in the final stages of construction.

The expressive frame at the 2nd through 5th floor is used to reinforce a pedestrian scale along Como Lake Avenue and helps to articulate the perception of reduced volume at the uppermost two storeys. This project strives to provide rental housing in the City of Coquitlam that supports a variety of unit types with 20% of 3-bedroom family units. Residents at Trio will enjoy large outdoor spaces including a common rooftop terrace for entertaining or relaxing. To ensure the project is viable, the development needs to maximize the available 2.5 FSR within a 6-storey form.

Trio, similarly to Duet will be noteworthy for sustainability and it will feature cross-laminated timber (CLT) panel construction, SmartWood™ combined with QuietHome™ technology that exceed industry standards in sustainability.
